Regional Arab Network Against Aids

Mrs. Fares holds a teaching diploma in Social Service from Saint Joseph University and pursued her Postgraduate Studies (DESS) in Community health at the Lebanese University where she worked as a lecturer for several years. She has participated in a variety of social activities on different levels like children care, youth and drug addiction, and has an advanced experience in the service of people afflicted with AIDS. She took part as well in a series of local and regional professional training seminars with the NAP - National AIDS Control Program, Lebanon - on topics related to the voluntarily counseling and testing I & II, and with the UNAIDS on Management of NGOs, Monitoring and Evaluation System as well as Mobilization of Resources. She is active on many levels. She works with different kinds of institutions such as clubs, schools, universities, jails, youth movement and associations. She participated in a variety of projects and trainings with governmental institutions and international organizations (Ministry of Social Affairs, Ministry of Youth and Sports in collaboration with CEMEA International, etc…). In 2010, she has been selected as the Coordinator for the Regional/ Arab Network Against Aids (RANAA) in the MENA region.
